How to Use the stock scan?
It is simple. The idea of stock scan is using a program to comb through the entire database to look for signals that match our strategy. In our case here, we see MACD is a stable indicator that showing consistent result. Therefore we use the MACD Scan.
The scan helps to shortlist the stocks that has the MACD signals we want.
We know that with the stocks that has the MACD signals potentially these stocks will move, will move in the near term. Of course some may already move.
Next step after the scan, we will then screen through the shortlisted stocks manually to find those that are trade able and drop off those that either we can not find any reason to trade.
You will want volatility, with volatility the stock will than move.
