A car will last you many years, four, five, ten or fifteen years. For some country, they have law to enforce how long a car can be on the road; to keep your company young. For example, in Singapore you will need to renew the certificate to own the car as well as high road tax after ten years.

For electronic car, the car chassis can be new, but do you have the latest version of circuit board and software. What is the regulatory have enforce the supplier on the safety and responsibility?
