Straits Times Index Update, STI Dropped Below 3000 Points Level This Week

Straits Times Index Update, STI Closed Below 3000 Points Level

Welcome to AmiBrokerAcademy.com Moses’s Stock Corner.  In the last update, Singapore stock market benchmark Straits Times Index, STI has broken up 3000 points level. But this week STI closed 2978.08 points below the 3000 points level.

Can STI push across the 3000 points level again? Is STI forming a cup and handle chart pattern before it cross the 3000 points level again? Will see! See the daily chart on the illustration.

Straits Times Index opened at 3021.19 points high but ended at 2979.08 points below 3000 points critical level. It ended the week 22.51 points lower than the previous week closed. Looks like 3050 points level is now further now, it will need more time before it can be tested now. The resistance besides the 3000 points level, also the resistance formed by equal distance channel upper level. See the weekly chart for details.
