Today March 23, Mr Lee Kuan Yew the founding Prime Minister of Singapore passed away at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) at 3:18 am. He was 91.

Pay tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew of his contribution to the nation, Singapore. Putting Singapore on the map. “I have no regrets. What have I given up?  My Life.”

Reading Chart Bar by Bar for March 23

The last bar (on March 20) was a bullish candlestick, a strong bullish candlestick, a big one; open low, gap down but close high with small tail. However, we see the candlestick ended where many of the candlesticks were ended. This give some clue that this might not be a easy zone. The next candlestick may take more effort (in other words more time too) to cross this zone.

We also see many tails were left in this zone. Always look left and think (plan) right.

The geometry pattern is always a good reference, the possible AB = CD gives the suggestion the the STI at some point of time will end higher. This is a bullish hint. With the 100 MA is slopping up, it is always be caution that STI may be ready to go lower. Besides that if you remember the last chart we show the River, STI was trap inside. See the previous STI Technical Analysis posting for the chart.

Will STI respect the Hammer bearish candlestick; tomorrow will end with a big bearish candlestick? We maybe at a strong level, zone now. Will see.
