April 24, 2014 Singapore Stock Market Benchmark Straits Times Index, STI Market Outcome Update

On April 24, 2014 the Singapore Stock Market outcome market benchmark, Straits Times Index, STI closed at 3283.93 points, the market moves 25.92 points higher from the last closed at 3258.01 points. The market swings further north. How can this happen and look like the market is out of sync with major markets such as US market; no longer in step with the global players? True? This is because everyone is trying to find a reason a good reason to celebrate; one standout, the property market. The property market has slowed down so much. Money has to go somewhere and no one will want to act smart and guess the low is here, or in the near future, in next month, in next next month, or even in one year time. It is very normal for the investors to park their money on next best instrument; stock market if they don’t want to put their money outside of Singapore. This is just guessing. This is just like Technical Analysis, only until it is proven wrong you will have to believe this is right and the market will continue to move north.

But, watch it!  When it fail it can be very bad; covering the gaps.
