Algo-Trading

Algo-Trading aka Algorithmic trading, is an automated trading, or black-box trading.  The trading process is using computers programmed to follow a predefined set of instructions for placing a trade in order to generate profits at a speed and frequency that is impossible for a human traders. Algo-trading is emotionless, and consistent.

Algo-trading base on a set of rules, and the most basic algo trading you can find is likely the easy recognize support and resistance, and chart pattern.

Most institution today are using Algo-trading.

 

Support and Resistance

Support and Resistance is the basic tool for technical analysis. Not every trader draws the same support and resistance. In order to trade along with the institution, you have to know draw the major support and resistance. One common one, is the day high, day, week high, week low, month high, month low.

In trading there is no right no wrong, price action can react to any level. But institution is the one that will move the market.

Every trade has their reason on deciding which is the S&R. Some uses the day, some uses the week, some uses the month. What you are going to experience here is the support and resistance base on year, year of every twelve calendar months and not every twelve month.  Have fun!

The following chart, you can see 2016 is making about the same high as compare to 2015. However, 2016 created the a lower low as compare to 2015.
